Purpose

The Cyclist Choice publishes clear, practical information to help riders understand e-bike laws & access and choose the right bike size with our sizing guide. We keep things simple, accurate, and easy to verify.

What We Publish

  • Laws & Access: State and federal e-bike classifications, where you can ride, and pointers to the official rules.
  • Bike Sizing: A straightforward sizing framework to get riders into the right fit.

What We Don’t Publish

  • No product reviews
  • No how-to/repair guides
  • No affiliate links or paid placements

How Content Is Created

  • Human-led, tool-assisted: We use AI for outlining and edits, but every page is planned, reviewed, and approved by a human before publication.
  • Primary sources first: For legal topics, we cite statutes, CFR sections, and official agency pages; secondary sources are used only for context and clearly labeled.
  • Clarity over jargon: Plain language, with links to the original rules so you can check them yourself.

Independence

We do not accept compensation in exchange for coverage or recommendations. If our monetization model ever changes, we’ll update this page and clearly label any affected content.

Updates & Corrections

Laws change. We update pages regularly and show a “Last updated” date at the top. If you spot an error or have an official source we should include, please reach us via our Contact page. Substantive corrections are noted in-line or in an updates section.
